New to the region in 2020, recorded in Berkshire. An immigrant and recent colonist in Britain, so far mainly found near the south coast of England. For verification of records, photographs would need to clearly show the features that distinguish this species from the very similar Lesser Broad-bordered Yellow Underwing. The markings are variable however. Dissection is preferable and is essential for borderline cases. The first record for Bucks (dissected), a possible migrant due to the late date, was added on 22nd October 2024.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.
