Widespread and very common across our region wherever there are oaks. Comes to light at night, sometimes in very large numbers, and may be encountered swarming around oaks during the daytime. A possible confusion species is the macro-moth Cream-bordered Green Pea Earias clorana which is similar in size and resting position.
